Malatai on the Beach, one of the newest and largest villas in Jamaica, is elegantly perched on the translucent turquoise waters of the splendid Mammee Bay. Stately lions, koi, and lily ponds grace the covered entrance. On textures of gleaming Jotoba wood, Italian tile, Jerusalem stone, marble, and granite, interior spaces open to the piece de resistance: a 3,300-square-foot sugary white sand beach.

Sea Fans was designed in such a way that the guest bedrooms are all totally private. Each hexagonal guest suite has its own separate entrance and features A/C, a bathroom, and a private “outdoor” shower, where no one can see in but you can watch the beautiful sunset over Drake’s Channel. There are two separate beachfront guest suites and a two-story, two-bedroom guest suite. The second-floor bedroom is equipped with a kitchenette and each of the bedrooms has its own large covered terrace with beautiful teak furniture.

The main house has a high cathedral roof with four ceiling fans to keep you cool at all times. There is a modern, exceptionally well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster oven, and refrigerator/freezer with water and ice dispensed through the door. It is the perfect place to prepare some wonderful meals.

At the side of the house is a Bougainvillea-covered terrace with a stone breakfast dining table for four. This is a great area to relax in the morning time. The villa features a lavish 20′ x 40′ foot pool, which is the largest in the area! It is perfectly positioned between the covered patio and the beach. Also located in the pool area is a wet bar, complete with an icemaker and refrigerator.

Sea Fans is located on the leeward side of the island so it enjoys calm breezes with temperatures usually in the low 80′s to upper 70′s throughout the year. Guests can step off of the property directly onto the clean sandy beach. There is a reef a short swim offshore the water laps against the beach making it perfect for children of all ages. The reef also gives you a very private beach by preventing boaters from being able to come ashore. Under the water, a soft, sandy bottom with no coral or sea urchins stretches out a short swim to the reef. You can bring your own or rent snorkel gear so that you can discover the wide variety of fish and coral right in your own back yard.

Sea Fans is located just ten minutes from the Virgin Gorda Airport, the Marina, Little Dix, and most of the shops and grocery stores for your shopping needs. We do recommend renting a car for transportation throughout the island as it is a beautiful island to explore. You are also just twenty minutes away from the North Sound end of the island where you will find a variety of delectable restaurants or you can also take a scenic ride on the water taxi to access more restaurants throughout the island. Speedy’s Transport Services provides a variety of options for transportation on Virgin Gorda including taxis, island ferry services, or car rentals.

Accessible by water taxi from Gun Creek is – Biras Creek Resort, Bitter End Yacht Club, Fat Virgin Café, Saba Rock Restaurant & Bar and Sand Box Bar & Grill. There are several other great restaurants that are all within a ten to fifteen-minute car ride including Coco Maya Restaurant, Chez Bamboo Restaurant and Giorgio’s Table.

The Main Villa at Beachcomber consists of two master suites. Both are en suite, featuring outdoor showers and are furnished with lavish king-size beds. There is also a bedroom located here and it consists of three twin beds and also an en suite and bath.

The Guest House is located next to the main villa and includes one master suite with a king-size bed. This suite also features an en suite bath with an outdoor shower. The suite comes with a fully stocked kitchenette, along with a Satellite TV and telephone. There is an adjoining bedroom which has two twin beds and a trundle bed, en suite bath with outdoor shower.

The Great Room consists of nearly 1,000 square feet of living space. It includes a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, dining room that seats twelve guests, luxury living room, an entertainment center with satellite TV,  stereo with an iPod docking station, ceiling fans, telephone and high-speed Internet. As you enter this beautiful Antigua villa rental a unique area consisting of an open floor plan including the modern kitchen, dining, and living area sit under vaulted ceilings and overhead fans. Ceiling sky windows are placed to permit the natural light to brighten the area.

The gourmet-style kitchen is furnished with all professional-grade appliances such as a stainless steel 6 burner stove, double door refrigerator; dishwasher; convectional oven; and other small appliances, including all the essentials, and next by is a walk-in pantry.
