The views of Les Pitons and the stunning open blue sea are outstanding from the villa as well as the view of St Vincent Island which can be seen on clear days.
It is located only 1.5 miles from Soufriere and a 5-minute drive to Anse Chastanet beach which has excellent diving facilities and snorkeling just off the beach in a protected marine park. The Soufriere area of St. Lucia is the most beautiful part of the island with its Sulphur Springs, Botanical Gardens and Mineral Baths, rain forest, and unspoiled coastline. This villa is perfect for people who appreciate natural beauty and lovely surroundings.
La Bagatelle villa features gorgeous wooden floors, Italian tiled bathrooms, two large bedrooms with antique West Indian four-poster beds, and stunning antique furniture with bright whitewashed walls and ceilings. The villa is set among beautifully landscaped gardens with a wide variety of tropical plants and their scents greeting you on arrival to the villa.
The large open plan south-facing living room, pool and fully equipped kitchen are upstairs boasting the most sea views and views of Les Pitons. The living room hosts 2 large couches with cozy cushions, a hammock and an impressive 4 poster day bed for relaxing and reading and just simply enjoying the view and sunlight. The pool is 18ft x 10ft and has a clay-tiled terrace at the side for the cushioned pool loungers.
The 2 bedrooms are downstairs both with antique 4 poster beds and both are en-suite with showers and large walk-in closets. One has a double and queen both fitted with mosquito nets and the other Master has a large 4-poster king. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans and windows and doors that open out to the incredible sea views and refreshing sea breeze.
The owners of La Bagatelle live next door and their tennis court below the house is available for you to use.
When you stay at La Bagatelle you will be personally cared for by Villa’s own Housekeeper, Cook, and Gardener. The housekeeper will work 6 days 9am- 3pm. You will feel welcomed and pampered throughout your stay. In the house or by the pool, the staff will always be on hand to look after your every need and ensure your comfort. If you decide to leave the sanctuary of La Bagatelle, you will find a wide selection of delicious restaurants.
The villa is located just 5 minutes from Anse Chastanet Beach and 5 minutes from Soufriere. Soufriere is a picturesque fishing town divided in two by the Soufriere River. Most of the shops, craft centres and restaurants are located a few streets in from the jetty in Soufriere.
