This wonderful villa is just a stone’s throw from the Sandy Lane Hotel and the private Property Owners Beach Club. Open plan living offers a bright and airy feel to the entire house which is complemented by the excellent quality furnishings throughout.
The spacious vaulted Living Room is a blend of old Barbados mahogany furniture & coral stone with the more modern bamboo to create a modern Caribbean style feel. The main living and dining room has a large marble formal dining table perfect for enjoying dinner with friends and family while on holiday.
Once the large sliding doors are opened to the northern side of the living room you flow naturally out onto the terrace which overlooks the pool and garden area. This space is perfect for enjoying a cocktail and a good book while others swim and play in the Barbados sun. There is also a small wrought iron table within the garden perfect for a morning coffee or a game of cards.
Anchorage has three expansive bedrooms all of which feature air-conditioning. The large master bedroom is furnished with a king-sized bed, with a double basin en-suite bathroom with a large shower. The second and third bedrooms offer twin beds, which can be zipped together to make kings. The second bedroom has a full bathroom accessed across the hallway and the third bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with bath/shower.
A short 5 to 7 minutes walk or two minutes drive away from Anchorage is one of the best beaches in Barbados and this is where the Sandy Lane Property Owners Private Beach Facility is located immediately adjacent to the famous Sandy Lane Hotel. The beach club features free use of the sun loungers and umbrellas, changing facilities, an outdoor shower, plus a lovely indoor seating area and a snack/drinks bar. The Sandy Lane Hotel water sports facility is adjacent should you wish to water-ski or sail (payable locally).
Anchorage has a permanent Housekeeper who is an excellent cook and who will take care of your every need six days a week. She will prepare breakfast, light lunches, and other meals by arrangement only. She also will take care of all the laundry including personal items and keep the villa in top shape, so you do not have to lift a finger.
