Coral Cove 5 “Shutters” is a 3-bedroom beachfront apartment situated on the West Coast of Barbados on Paynes Bay which is fantastic for both families and couples.

Coral Cove itself was completed in 2008.  It has 14 apartments – not a massive development.  Shutters has one parking space that is easily accessed via drive-thru electronic gates.  It has permanently manned security that covers both the condo and beach chairs.  Access to the condo areas is by security code.

This Barbados condo has an open-concept interior featuring a new (2022) fully equipped kitchen, living room, and 3 beautifully decorated bedrooms  2 with en-suite bathrooms and 1 family bathroom all with air conditioning. The apartment also benefits from a private balcony which is probably the best feature giving uninterrupted views of the west coast.  A real wow factor.

The balcony consists of a lounging sofa area and a dining table for 6. The balcony is a perfect height – high enough for a great view and just below the leaves of the palms. The ample space is the icing on the cake and makes our condo very special with a great spacious feel.

Coral Cove 5 Shutters has three good-sized bedrooms.  The master bedroom opens with sliding doors directly onto the balcony.  It has an ensuite granite bathroom with two basins, a large bath, and a walk-in shower.  It has a walk-in dressing/wardrobe area and a super king bed.  There is a flat-screen cable TV.  The second and third bedrooms are at the rear of the condo with shutters out onto the landing area.  The second bedroom has a queen bed and an en-suite granite bathroom with two basins and a walk-in shower.  The third bedroom has twin beds which can be converted into a king and has a bathroom with a walk-in shower adjacent.  New fluffy pillows have just been delivered.

The kitchen area at Coral Cove 5 has high-specification fittings new in 2022- There is a separate room for the washer/dryer. It’s great to be able to cook a meal while chatting with people in the lounge area and on the balcony.  You don’t really need a barbecue here – the kitchen feels as though it is part of an outside area.  The lounge area has two good-sized sofas and an armchair, a flat-screen cable TV with a decent package including ESPN which has English Premier League, Apple TV (for use with your own iTunes account, also provides access to Netflix using your own account for loads of movies and NFL) we have B&O remote blue tooth speaker.  It has wifi which works really well and has a booster to cover the beach area – much better than a shared hotel connection – for Facetiming/skyping family back home.

Located on the doorstep of one of the island’s best beaches, the luxury building also features 24-hour security, concierge services, and a 3 days per week maid service with Coral Cove sun beds on the beach.

It should be noted that beaches change their shape and size from day to day, week to week, and month to month, mainly as a response to seasonal waves, currents, and tides. Every effort has been made to depict the beach in front of this property, but temporary changes may occur.

    Rental rates are subject to a 10% Government Accommodation Levy plus a 2.5% Service Fee.
